One of the major challenges was enabling seamless offline-first functionality, allowing users to collect and store structured issue reports—including text descriptions, location, images, and timestamps—even in remote areas without internet. Ensuring data consistency between the local database and central server during intermittent connectivity required a reliable background sync engine.

Additionally, the app had to be intuitive enough for volunteers with varied digital literacy, while supporting multilingual inputs and high data integrity. Another key challenge was ensuring data security during local storage and transmission, and optimizing the app for low-end Android devices frequently used in the field.
